Position: Quarry Boatloader (Temporary)
Reports to: Quarry Supervisor
Pay: $40.01 per hour
What you'll be contributing:
Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
Work as to boat schedule
Daily inspection of boat loading system
Operate boat loading systems properly and efficiently
Convey operational information during shift change
Report any deficiencies to the supervisor
Housekeeping duties as assigned
When boat season is closed, loader will do clean-up work and any other duties as assigned
Tasks will be performed in compliance with all CRH policies, procedures, instruction manuals.
Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
To succeed in this position, you will need:
High school graduation or equivalent is required
Ability to read, write and understand warning labels, instructions, signs, etc.
Certification of apprenticeship for surface mining
Understanding of conveyor system
Good written/oral communication skills
Knowledge of Boat loading system
General knowledge of Quarry operation
