Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking a Site Operations Project Manager for the AEGIS Technical Representative (TECHREP) program located at the Production Test Center in Moorestown, NJ. The qualified candidate will become part of the AEGIS TECHREP Engineering Support Services contract working with a highly complex radar and computer system critical to the defense of the United States.

The candidate will provide project coordination support to CSEDS, the developers test facilities as well as the manufacturing site. Responsibilities include participation in meetings, discussions, and communications to support the development of an execution plan for each planned project as well as managing the team supporting the site.

Additionally, the candidate will:

  • Engage with developer and other organizations to lay out project tasks to meet project and site objectives. Interact with customer leadership and developer daily.
  • Assess site changes and coordinate support for design and development of site-specific alterations to existing combat systems to include installation, integration, interface, and activation of new equipment with existing equipment or systems.
  • Identify integration and configuration requirements and testing to validate equipment functionality. Track top-level technical problems in existing and future configurations, provide engineering assessments and analysis as well as identify and document impacts.
  • Provide technical and engineering support for the assembly, production, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Integration Testing and acceptance of AEGIS Weapon System equipment.
  • Coordinate Production Test Centers, and Production Test Facility equipment installation, verification, and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) anomaly resolution.
  • Act as Deputy Site Manager for the Production test centers and assist the Gov Site manager in all aspects of daily operations.
  • Bring Attention to Any Matters Needed Gov Assistance Tracking to Include Review of Open Item Letters for CFE and GFE
  • Coordinate Funding Requests including TPS and ROMs for ongoing and Emergent Efforts
  • Assist in the Creating of Briefings and Point Papers
  • Assist Sites Team (COR, Division Lead, and XO) as Needed
  • Coordination of Bi-Weekly program meetings
  • Liaison with IWS and Developer in the coordination of new lab development, track all milestones and report status
  • Manage and track equipment status of AWS labs.
  • Daily Interaction with technicians, engineers and management to gather a comprehensive understanding if lab issues, troubleshooting efforts and part failures to include root cause, tactical impact and path to green.
  • Interact with the logistics team to expedite critical need parts. Investigate alternative avenues to obtain long lead items to meet test schedule deadlines.
  • Track and report on high fail items. Liaison with Supply, vendors, IWS, ISEAs on paths forward for interim support plans.
  • Track and report the status of the OEM Acquisition, Production, Integration and Test efforts as well as an independent assessment of the status provided.
  • Provide recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing productivity and process changes, meeting or exceeding customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; and identifying trends.
  • Interact with IWS to schedule on-site technical support, ORDALT installation, and software support


Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Aegis Weapon System, Aegis Combat System background (prior Navy or shipyard experience)
  • Project management experience

  • Ability to work within a team environment or solely.
  • Self-starter, proactive
  • Security Clearance Requirement: Must have a secret level DoD security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
  • Adhere to the Chain of Command
  • Logistics and Hardware integration experience
  • Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, etc.)
  • Understanding of the Systems Engineering Development Lifecycle
  • On-site required (not a virtual position)


Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Experience with AEGIS programs
  • Project Management experience
  • Bachelor degree (BS/BA) in a related engineering field, or a minimum of 15 years of experience of in-depth specialized knowledge in the related field such as Logistics, Warehousing, Hardware/Manufacturing, and Integration


Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $92290 - $156860

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
