College of Medicine FacultyJob Summary ETSU Quillen College of Medicine invites board-certified/board-eligible Hematologists/Oncologists to join our existing team of physicians at the Regional Cancer Center in Johnson City, TN. As a Clinical Academic Hematologist/Oncologist at ETSU, you will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive care, contributing to research, and educating future healthcare professionals in the field of hematology/oncology. This outpatient-focused position follows a 4-day schedule, with one day reserved for protected administrative time. Inpatient responsibility is shared amongst partners, with each physician covering one week at a time.
Hematologists/Oncologists play a significant role in improving the healthcare landscape of our community, as there is a substantial need for their expertise in this region. The ETSU Department of Internal Medicine adheres to AAMC salary recommendations, ensuring compensation is aligned with national academic salary standards for each specialty.

- Medical degree (MD/MBBS/DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine and Hem/Onc
- Completion of ACGME-accredited residency and fellowship programs
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of practice.
- Experience in medical education
- Commitment to teaching and mentorship.
