Bartlett is excited to be close to opening our Grain Elevator in Sheffield, IL. In the coming months, we will be hiring for various positions, including Grain Elevator Operator We do plan to hold some information sessions about these jobs in early April. Grain Elevator Operators The duties of this hands-on job will include grain receiving, storage, handling, drying, blending, and loading of grain; monitoring stored grain condition; and maintaining and cleaning grain facilities and equipment to provide a safe environment for you and fellow Team Members. Grain Elevator Operators will be cross-trained to perform a variety of tasks. For these jobs we are seeking hands-on individuals who can work longer hours in challenging conditions. Experience in a grain elevator, feed mill or similar would be helpful, but is NOT required.
