INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER
The Industrial Engineer will be responsible for planning the utilization of facilities, equipment, materials and personnel to improve efficiency of operations by performing the following duties:.
Duties to include:

Set up incentive areas and maintain incentive standards and standard data.

Issue directive memos in informing all related areas to changes.

Analyze cost comparisons and evaluate possible cost savings measures

Set up and maintain Bill of Materials file, packing specifications, law tag information and customer SKU files.

Recommends methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities such as restructuring job duties, reorganizing work flow, relocating work stations, equipment and plant lay outs.

Confers with management and engineering staff to implement plans and recommendations.

Develops management systems for cost analysis, financial planning, wage and salary administration, and job evaluation.
Qualifications/Skills
-
Prior experience working in a furniture manufacturing environment preferred
-
Microsoft Excel, AS400, JDE software processing knowledge
-
Must be 18 years of age or older

Associate degree in a business related field preferred

Ability to remain professional and courteous at all times

Ability to communicate effectively with management
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
