What you'll do
The Administrative Supervisor Nursing will work Full-time, Days and provides consistent on-site administrative coverage for the hospital and is responsible for coordinating the operations of the hospital on his/her assigned shift. Is responsible for coordinating patient placement consistent with care needs and resources, staffing reallocations and patient flow, accepting all patients meeting our capacity criteria. Assists with direct and indirect care as needed. Functions as a consultant and educator for all inpatient staff including Nursing, ED, Bed Management, Laboratory, Radiology and Pharmacy. Supervises the shift Staffing Assistant, providing direction as needed. Functions as the on-site administrator, addressing patient and staff complaints, media inquires and emergency preparedness.
What we need from you
Education/Qualifications:
- 2 year/Associate degree in Nursing required
- 4 year/Bachelor degree in Nursing preferred; completion required within within one year from date of hire
- Master's degree in healthcare related field with an additional 2 years of below experience may be considered
Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in nursing beginning at the staff nurse level with assumption of positions of increasing responsibility, required
Licensure/Certificates:
- NYS Licensure as a Registered Nurse required
- BLS and ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of date of hire
Physical Requirements:
- Medium Work - Exerting up to 50 lbs. for force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.
- Occasional balancing, climbing, crouching, kneeling, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, stooping
- Frequent fit testing
- Constant typing/clerical/dexterity, grasping, hearing, repetitive motion, seeing/monitor/computer use, standing, talking, visual acuity (color, depth, perception), walking
Hazards:
- Occasional radiation/radiant energy
- Frequent bodily fluids/bloodborne exposure
Working conditions:
- Occasional noise
Travel:
- Occasional Travel - The job may requre travel from time-to-time, but not on a regular basis

This position is eligible for a sign on bonus up to:
USD $35,000.00
Pay Transparency
Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards. The above compensation range represents a good faith belief of the compensation range by Bassett Healthcare Network, and its entities and affiliates, at the time of this posting or advertisement.
Pay Range Minimum:
USD $43.93/Hr.
Pay Range Maximum:
USD $65.89/Hr.
