The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Biology and Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston are seeking a collaborative Board Certified OBGYN to serve as Laborist/Nocturnist in the division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology. At Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, our multidisciplinary obstetrical and gynecological team provides world-class, highly personalized care to patients throughout all stages of life. From family planning and pregnancy to intimate health and menopause, our team includes specialists in all areas of obstetrics and gynecology.

Laborists will work three 12-hour night shifts weekly and one weekend per month. Physicians will provide care on Labor and Delivery which includes the supervision of residents and medical students.

Academics and compensation:

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a history of activity and commitment to the academic mission including teaching and leadership in resident and medical student education. An academic appointment will be made at the Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor level at Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. All candidates must be graduates of an accredited ACGME Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency and Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology. Medical licensure by the State of Massachusetts will be required before the commencement of employment. Candidates must meet the criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.
