ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER

Your Role You're part of the leadership group responsible for the care and inspiration of the team in your store. Working closely with the Store Manager you'll help teach, coach and develop great team members and actively seek tomorrow's leaders. As you probably know, it's all about developing the team and helping others achieve their career goals. This is also a great position to learn and develop your leadership career further!

 You'll perform a majority of the store work, including being and amazing customer service enthusiast, cash and credit transaction, responsibly selling alcohol, tobacco and lottery products and the normal retail record-keeping.

A High School diploma or equivalent is required for the position. College credits in a similar field isn't mandatory but would be helpful. We'd also like to see at least one year of related retails experience. Please be able to demonstrate an engaging leadership style and an interest in developing team members. Being able to communicate clearly and politely will be a necessary skill. You'll also need to stand, bend, and reach along with lifting at least 50 lbs., and be at least 18 years old. Please have reliable transportation and be able to show proof of valid auto insurance in order to perform some of the leadership roles.

Open availability will be a must, since you'll be in the store for different shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
