Join us as a Solutions Engineer, supporting presales activities across the BMC Helix portfolio, with a focus on Agentic AI use cases, HelixGPT, and GenAI-enabled service experiences. You will partner with sales teams, solution architects, and customers to understand technical needs and demonstrate how Helix's AI capabilities solve real-world challenges.
This role sits within a rapidly evolving, energetic environment—ideal for early-career professionals who are eager to learn, take initiative, and grow their technical and customer-facing skills at speed.
Here is how, through this exciting role, you will contribute to BMC Helix's and your own success:

  • Support presales engagements through technical demonstrations, workshops, and value-focused presentations.
  • Configure and adapt Helix solutions—including HelixGPT, Agentic AI workflows, and GenAI-powered automations—to customer-specific scenarios.
  • Participate in technical discovery sessions to align platform capabilities with customer requirements.
  • Build demo use cases that illustrate AI/ML, automation, and LLM-driven workflows.
  • Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Engineering to stay current with new features and AI advancements.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, guiding customers through modern, AI-enabled service management architectures.

To ensure you're set up for success, you will bring the following skillset and experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • 1+ year of experience in a technical or customer-facing role
  • Strong foundational understanding of:
    • Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Generative AI
    • Large Language Models (LLMs) and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
    • Automation frameworks, APIs, and workflow design
    • Cloud fundamentals (SaaS, microservices, containerization)
  • Strong technical aptitude and eagerness to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Whilst these are nice to have, our team can help you develop in the following skills:
  • Familiarity with Python, Java, or other modern programming languages.
  • Experience with AI/ML tools, vector databases, or prompt engineering.
  • Knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, or digital workflow platforms is a plus.
  • Ability to build demos, scripts, or prototypes illustrating AI capabilities.
  • Strong interest in customer engagement and translating technology into business outcomes.

At BMC we believe in pay transparency and have set the midpoint of the salary band for this role at 1,180,000 INR. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. 
The salary listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
