BMC is looking for an Associate Product Manager – Regulatory Affairs / Governance, Risk, and Compliance to join the Product Management team behind Control-M, BMC's industry-leading orchestration and automation platform.
Are you passionate about product management and eager to build expertise in regulatory compliance? Join BMC's dynamic, global team and grow your career at the intersection of product, security, and privacy.
As an Associate Product Manager, you'll gain hands-on experience with industry-leading frameworks like GDPR, SOC 2, IRAP, ENS, DORA, ISO27001, and more. You'll work in a fast-paced, business-driven environment that values innovation, continuous learning, and impactful collaboration.
This role offers a unique opportunity to translate regulatory requirements into product development goals, policies, and processes—from ideation through to successful implementation. You'll contribute meaningfully while building specialized domain-expertise and growing into a leadership within the evolving product space.

Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success:
  • Play a key role in enabling growth by managing and evolving our security and privacy frameworks posture—ensuring compliance with global standards and giving you deep, hands-on experience in a highly sought-after domain.
  • Help shape and refine internal policies and procedures that meet regulatory and customer trust expectations, influencing how BMC operates at scale.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Sales, Pre-Sales Professional Services, and Customer Success teams—providing practical guidance on security and privacy during every stage of the customer lifecycle.
  • Own the documentation and communication of our compliance initiatives—making complex topics accessible and transparent across the organization.
  • This role is a launchpad. With strong mentorship and support, you'll take on increasing product ownership and help drive compliance strategy from a product perspective.
To ensure you're set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
  • 2+ years in Product management, product operations, project management, or as a legal associate—preferably in a software company or within a security/privacy compliance context
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Law (LLB), or a related field
  • Experience or interest in regulatory compliance, governance, or security and privacy standards
  • Strong attention to details and the ability to manage complex multi-step processes including large questionnaires and multiple tasks
