The individual will work with a team of dedicated Password administrators. The Passwords team is responsible for accurate and timely creation and delivery of license keys for all new license orders, extensions, trials, customer infrastructure changes, and disaster recovery passwords. All passwords must comply with revenue recognition rules and the customer's contractual agreement. Here is how, through this role, you will contribute to BMC's and your own success: • Independent verification, updating of password-related information, generation of passwords, distribution, and reporting of all aspects of passwords for software products. • Maintain a detailed and thorough understanding and working knowledge of the various password authorization utilities and generators utilized by the entire product line. • Must be able to independently generate and distribute passwords in a timely and accurate manner. • Must display a high attention to detail and be aware of critical accounts, deadlines, and revenue recognition cut-off timelines and expectations. • Understanding and working knowledge of all password generators and the order entry application utilized to record and track activity. • Maintain a detailed and thorough understanding of the contract policies and procedures. • Technical understanding of the various error messages and the appropriate corrective action required to initiate a solution. • Monitor accounts and initiate appropriate action to add, update and/or correct the customer database in regard to product password information. • Utilize both verbal and written communication skills to communicate with customers and internal personnel on contract and company policies and procedures. • Provide coordinated support in regard to the order to cash process to both internal and external personnel. Such support may include, but is not limited to, providing CPU verification reports to sales, verifying installed products by account, providing customers with licensed product details, and providing invoice history. • Demonstrate teamwork and a high sense of interpersonal skills with all Password Coordinators within the department. • Provide input to department policies concerning changes in business practices and procedures that impact password support. • Handle other non-specified assignments as may be periodically assigned by Department Leadership. • Export Compliance review • Monitor queue for trial software requests
Shift Timings: 6PM - 3AM IST
To ensure you're set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
- Two to four years of customer service experience with computer terminal information access.
- At least one-year of data entry experience.
- Basic PC skills in word processing and spreadsheet application are required.
- Must possess excellent organizational and communication, both verbal and written skills.
- Typing skills sufficient to perform accurate and timely data entry are required
- Must be very detailed oriented and exhibit a high degree of accuracy in the performance of job functions.
- Knowledge and experience using Salesforce.com and Oracle
- Experience with software licensing and contracts
