To ensure you're set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with 8+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or related roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Generative AI and LLMs, including: Prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), LLM evaluation and benchmarking, Fine-tuning and adaptation of models (e.g., LLaMA, BERT, GPT-based models).
- Solid understanding of NLP concepts and practical experience with relevant NLP libraries and frameworks.
- Proficiency in Python and experience building backend services and APIs using frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask.
- Strong grounding in statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, data exploration, and visualization techniques.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries used in production systems.
- Exposure to MLOps, experimentation, observability, and monitoring, including: Experiment tracking, reproducibility, and model comparison, Model versioning and artifact management, Model performance monitoring, drift detection, and operational metrics, Familiarity with tools such as MLflow, Weights & Biases (W&B), or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., OpenShift, AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience working in Agile environments, using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex models, trade-offs, and analytics to non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-starter with strong intellectual curiosity and ownership mindset, able to drive problems end-to-end with minimal supervision.
Whilst these are nice to have, our team can help you develop in the following skills:
- Experience delivering multiple end-to-end GenAI projects from experimentation through production.
- Knowledge of forecasting and predictive modeling techniques.
- Cloud certifications (AWS or Azure).
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
- Familiarity with DevOps, such as CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), Jenkins, or Ansible.
- Exposure to mainframe systems or enterprise-scale platforms.
