BMC is offering a rare opportunity for a Senior Interaction and Systems Product Designer to join BMC Control-M, the global leader in business automation, that is revolutionizing our lives.  
This role is part of the design team for BMC Control-M R&D and is responsible for design operations, UX, UI, and design systems for BMC Control-M products. As a centralized design team in R&D, we craft our own processes and work with a spirit of collaboration, empathy, mutual feedback, and support. In this role, you'll partner daily with designers, product managers, and development teams to modernize and simplify experiences for complex user software. In this role, you will take hands-on ownership over foundational areas of our design system and our development process. Here is how YOUR role will contribute to BMC's and your own success: 

• Set the standard for UI by crafting and maintaining guidelines for the design team that align with our strategic vision, to ensure consistency and excellence.  
• Grow and maintain our modern design system of UI assets to support concept development, detailed design deliveries, and interactive user testing.  
• Collaborate closely with fellow designers, product managers, and development teams to create user-centric design concepts and detailed design deliveries.  
• Communicate visually with wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate your design solutions.  

To be successful, you will bring the following skillset & experience: 

• 6+ years of success designing UI solutions for complex business applications.  
• Deep knowledge of design systems and interface design development.  
• A talent for simplifying complex challenges with design solutions that are intuitive and beautiful.  
• Mastery of modern design tools such as Sketch, Axure, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.  
• You thrive as a confident leader over the full design process from research to concept to pixel-perfect solution with minimal supervision.
• A good communicator who creates clarity and builds consensus with whomever they work.  
• Excel as a hands-on contributor or leader in projects of various sizes and complexities.  
• An efficient and effective self-learner who is naturally curious about how things work and who can make things better through a design process.  
• Insightful design thinker who creates meaningful connections between design decisions and big-picture value.  
• Portfolio: You have a portfolio that demonstrates your professional design skills and accomplishments.

Whilst these are nice to have, our team can help you develop in the following skills: 

• Familiarity with IT and system automation applications.
