Join us as a Solutions Marketing Manager!
BMC is seeking an experienced Solutions Marketing Manager to accelerate the next phase of adoption and development for the BMC AMI Data portfolio. This role is ideal for a dynamic and technically adept marketing professional with a solid understanding and curiosity about data management and data resiliency solutions.
As part of the BMC AMI team, you will develop messaging that builds awareness, preference, and loyalty for the AMI Data portfolio. You will leverage it for content creation (data sheets, web copy, customer presentations) and sales enablement materials to lead go-to-market execution for the Portfolio Campaigns and Sales Plays. You will collaborate closely with product management, sales, pre-sales, customer success, and corporate marketing teams to position BMC AMI Data as the preferred solution for data management.
Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success:
- Lead the creation of an accurate and high-quality marketing content strategy to support the entire customer adoption lifecycle, including communications, presentations, white papers, solution briefs, web content, webinars, demos, and video scripts.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME), articulating key features, use cases, and business benefits of BMC AMI Data solutions.
- Develop sales enablement assets (battle cards, competitive intelligence, case studies, solution briefs) to support field sales and partner teams.
- Work closely with the sales team and other members of the integrated marketing team to develop the right strategy to drive demand and grow the sales pipeline, including Audience Segmentation, GTM Framework, Persona Development, and Buyer's Journey Mapping.
- Work closely with Product Managers to identify needs and sharpen product offerings based on the competitive landscape and customer feedback.
- Engage with customers, analysts, and industry experts to understand market trends and inform marketing strategies.
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- You have 5+ years of experience executing product marketing strategies, creating content, messaging, and marketing collateral, including presentations, white papers, datasheets, videos, and digital content within B2B enterprise software organizations; experience doing marketing for data management solutions is a plus.
- You have strong writing and storytelling skills and can translate complex technical concepts into compelling key messaging that effectively conveys the benefits to end-users.
- Experience with MS Office and solid presentation skills utilizing PowerPoint.
- You are a dynamic and motivated learner skilled at adapting to fast-paced environments and balancing tactical and strategic tasks amidst evolving market conditions.

The range listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
At BMC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at /near the top of the range. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $108,525 - $180,875
