We help our customers free up time and space to become an Autonomous Digital Enterprise that conquers the opportunities ahead - and are relentless in the pursuit of innovation! As a Product Designer, your primary responsibility is to conceptualize, design, and develop innovative and visually appealing products. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with UX Leads, researchers, engineers, and other stakeholders to create exceptional user experiences and drive product success. Your role will involve transforming ideas and requirements into tangible designs, from initial sketches to final prototypes, while considering usability, aesthetics, and market trends.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design Conceptualization:
    • Generate innovative product concepts and ideas through brainstorming, research, and analysis of user needs and market trends. Translate these concepts into visual representations, including sketches, mood boards, and storyboards, to communicate your vision effectively.
  • User-Centered Design:
    • Conduct user research and usability testing to understand user behaviors, preferences, and pain points. Apply design thinking principles to create user-centered solutions that address customer needs and enhance the overall user experience.
  • Product Development:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, marketers, and product managers, to define product requirements and specifications. Create detailed design specifications, including 2D and 3D models, technical drawings, and prototypes, to guide the development process.
  • Visual Design:
    • Develop compelling visual designs that align with brand guidelines and resonate with the target audience. Apply your expertise in color theory, typography, layout, and graphic design to create visually appealing and cohesive product interfaces.
  • Iterative Design Process:
    • Embrace an iterative design approach, continuously refining and iterating on designs based on feedback from stakeholders, usability testing, and market research. Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices to ensure your designs are innovative and competitive.
  • Design Documentation:
    • Create comprehensive design documentation, including style guides, design specifications, and design rationale, to ensure a consistent and cohesive implementation of the product across different platforms and devices.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Effectively communicate your design concepts and ideas to cross-functional teams and stakeholders through presentations, visualizations, and prototypes. Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure the feasibility and successful implementation of your designs.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (typically 3+ years) working as a Product Designer or in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch, or other relevant tools.
  • Strong visual and graphic design skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to create 2D and 3D models, technical drawings, and prototypes.
  • Familiarity with user research methodologies, usability testing, and design thinking principles.
  • Understanding of user interface design, interaction design, and information architecture.
  • Basic understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
  • Familiarity with technical constraints and considerations in product design.
  • Portfolio - A strong portfolio demonstrating your creative design process, problem-solving skills, and showcasing your ability to create visually appealing and user-centered designs.
