Benefits Analyst (Hybrid - Manchester, CT)
The Benefits Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day administration of Bob's Discount Furniture's employee benefits and retirement programs. This highly visible, fast-paced role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to provide outstanding customer service while managing multiple priorities.
As a key member of the Benefits team, the Benefits Analyst partners with internal stakeholders, employees, and external vendors to ensure the accurate and timely administration of benefit programs and communications. This role serves as the primary point of contact for employee benefit inquiries received through email, voicemail, Workday Help Cases, and other communication channels.
In addition to employee support, the Benefits Analyst is responsible for processing benefit billing and self-bills, assisting with compliance activities, supporting annual Open Enrollment, conducting employee benefit meetings, and ensuring the overall accuracy and integrity of benefit data and processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee or Human Resource's benefit inquiries via email, voicemail, and Workday Help Cases, providing timely, accurate, and professional customer service.
- Administer Bob's employee benefit and retirement programs, ensuring accurate enrollment and eligibility processing.
- Process and reconcile monthly benefit billing, including self-billed plans, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Partners with benefit vendors to resolve eligibility, enrollment, billing, file feed, and claims-related issues while ensuring a positive employee experience.
- Maintain accurate benefit records and employee data within Workday and other benefit administration systems.
- Support compliance with ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, and other applicable federal and state regulations.
- Assist with Annual Open Enrollment planning, testing, communications, employee education, and system validation.
- Conduct new hire and employee benefit meetings, presentations, and educational sessions.
- Create and distribute employee benefit communications, guides, and educational materials.
- Research and resolve complex benefit issues while exercising sound judgment and attention to detail.
- Analyze benefit data, identify trends, and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and enhance employee experience.
- Collaborate with Human Resources Business Partners, Payroll, vendors, and other internal business partners to ensure seamless benefit administration and member experience.
- Maintain strict confidentiality while handling sensitive employee and company information.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
- Able to organize and prioritize your daily responsibilities in an efficient manner while still staying on track to complete all activities within their respective deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- 4–5 years of benefits administration experience
- Strong knowledge of employee benefit programs and administration
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local benefits laws (ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA)
- Experience with Workday or other HCMS platforms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word
- High attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to think creatively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team
- High level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
