Job Description

We are seeking a visionary and results-oriented Sr Director to lead our Global IT Transformation initiatives to enable IT Shared Services and outsourcing capability globally. The successful candidate will play a critical role for Global IT organization as well in Enterprise Transformation Office, overseeing the alignment and execution of IT outsourcing/IT shared services/new operating model and associated projects that support the company's enterprise-wide global business services (GBS) transformation goals. This individual will ensure that IT transformation strategies are closely aligned with broader business objectives, enabling operational efficiency, scalability, and innovation across all functions of the organization.

The role will be reporting directly to the Global Chief Information Officer (CIO) and will have a dotted line reporting relationship to the Chief Transformation Officer (CTO).

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):

  • Collaborate and define the clear IT Transformation GBS Shared Services vision and measurable objectives alongside Transformation office and Global IT Organization
  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of IT GBS initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization's overall transformation strategy.
  • Oversee and manage IT GBS shared services and outsourcing operations, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services.
  • Develop the enterprise transformation IT GBS roadmap, identifying opportunities for technology-driven innovation, optimization, and process improvement and drive the transformation's business case for IT track in working closely with IT Global COEs and Regional Leaders.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with business units, technology teams, product teams, and leaders to ensure IT transformational GBS strategy directly supports the successful execution of enterprise transformation objectives, improving efficiency and enabling innovation.
  • Drive the execution of IT transformation GBS initiatives, including agreed upon ‘transformational system initiatives' enabling overall IT strategy tied directly to the Business objectives.
  • Ensure that transformation programs are implemented on time, within scope, and on-budget while adhering to best practices and risk management frameworks.
  • Establish and track KPIs and metrics for transformation success, ensuring continuous improvement and organizational learning.
  • Manage and provide complete financial transparency of the IT GBS transformation Initiatives
  • Serve as the key liaison between the IT department and other business units, ensuring a collaborative and transparent approach to IT transformation.
  • Report regularly to the executive team, ensuring that progress, risks, and challenges are communicated effectively.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with external technology partners, vendors, and consultants to support project delivery and innovation.
  • Serve as an enterprise transformation change agent to drive transformations efforts. Lead change management efforts to ensure the adoption of new technologies and processes across the organization.
  • Define governance frameworks for IT GBS transformation, ensuring appropriate decision-making structures, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
  • Oversee the identification, prioritization, and management of IT GBS transformation initiatives, ensuring that resources are effectively allocated to transformation projects.
  • Provide regular updates to executive leadership and board members on program progress and ROI.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, including significant experience managing Outsourcing initiatives, building GBS program, Shared Services experience including large-scale transformation programs.
  • Proven expertise in modern IT architecture, cloud technologies, and digital transformation.
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to align IT initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building and inspiring high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a global organization and managing cross-cultural teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in industries undergoing significant digital disruption.
  • Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, Agile) or IT governance frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage IT budgets exceeding $50M annually.
