Bronson Cardiothoracic Surgery Specialists has an outstanding opportunity in southwest Michigan for a BC/BE thoracic surgeon. This candidate would join our team that includes a cardiothoracic surgeon, five vascular surgeons and eight advanced practitioners. This is an opportunity to join a practice that has an established reputation for high quality and customer service excellence. The candidate should demonstrate a consistent commitment to attaining superior outcomes with a focus on patient centered care. The open heart and thoracic programs at Bronson emphasize teamwork, flexibility, and provider collaboration to ensure the safest and most patient centered experience possible.

The ideal candidate is experienced in treating a variety of lung conditions requiring surgical intervention including esophageal cancer, lung cancer, & mediastinal tumors. The candidate will have comprehensive surgical responsibility for all thoracic diseases including minimally invasive lung resections, endoscopic and open airway interventions, chest wall reconstruction, and diaphragmatic and pleural diseases. Experience operating on patients with esophageal disease is a plus.

The thoracic surgeon is an employed position that is part of the physician led Bronson Medical Group with opportunities to pursue clinical research. Physicians also have opportunities for teaching and academic affiliation through Western Michigan University School of Medicine.
