Summary

To provide cocktail and beverage service to guests in the lounge, high limit tables, and Poker.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Insure that guests receive the highest level of professional and consistent service.

Promote Cache Creek Casino Resort in a positive manner.

Communicate with Beverage Management on duty daily.

Take beverage orders from guests including alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks.

Server must be able to describe featured wines/spirits, promotions, and thoroughly answer questions with confidence.

Must possess excellent service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.

Greets and converses with guests to suggest or receive cocktail order.

Replenishes beverages as requested, frequently checking back with guest to inquire about satisfaction.

Carry a 12”-15” tray containing hot and cold food items.

Perform steps of service and maintain service standards.

Practice Safety and Sanitation techniques.

Obtain TIPS certificate and Guest Service Training within 90 days of employment.

Perform tasks including bussing tables, side work, and duties assigned by management.

Communicate basic knowledge about the casino resort.

Follow RICH and Food & Beverage standards.

Navigate through POS system and perform transactions such as placing beverage orders, typing in modifiers, and splitting checks.

Perform self-banking duties such as tendering Offline Acres, Officer Comps, Business Comps, Food Vouchers, credit cards, cash, and other forms of payments. In addition, reconcile paperwork and perform proper drop with minimal variance.

Maintain Pantry in organized fashion according to standard.

Clean all areas as required.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Age Requirement

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Must obtain TIPS certification.

Cache Creek Casino Resort Tribal Gaming License.
