Summary    

This position includes, but not limited to, ensuring that the Slot department maintains compliance with State and Federal regulations, as well as NIGA and MICS regulations.                                  

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Create and maintain all individual slot machine files including; PAR sheets, TGA verification sheets, work orders, and other documents as needed.
  • Investigate GLI compliance notification and advise if actions to be taken.
  • Responsible for computer data entry in EGM software data base and electronic slot machine files
  • Provide audit support to the State, TGA, external audits, and other Cache Creek Casino Resort departments.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks.
  • Responds and contributes to requests and inquiries from staff, employees and general public.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Provide excellent service and courtesy to all departments.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
  • Stays up to date and comprehends original research or complex professional/technical documents or publications, i.e. regulatory compliance (state and federal), GLI reports, CNI reports, System of Internal Controls, etc.
  • Reads, comprehend, and interprets gaming regulations, requirements, and assists the Slot Repair Manager and Slot Analytical and Compliance Manager in ensuring procedures and processes within the slot department are met.
  • Review daily GLI and CNI reports, Mandatory Notices, Field Advisories, Customer Service Notifications, etc., to determine recalls of software.
  • Collect and prepare appropriate documentation per requirements for compliance and improvement of slot machine operations.

Qualifications

Experience and/or Education                                             

One year related experience and/or training. Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or equivalent combination of experience and education. Must have strong Excel spreadsheet experience. Use computer functions such as complex spreadsheets, statistical analysis, and data base searches to create and keep software slot matrix current and functional. Must be able to operate a computer proficiently. Must be accomplished in Microsoft programs including, but not limited to Excel, Access, Outlook and Word.

 

Must be able to learn other software programs required by the department. Type and/or enter data at a speed necessary for successful job performance. The technology or knowledgebase is constantly changing, influenced by competing technologies on going and substantial change in the methods used and knowledge required in the job. Continuous effort is required to keep knowledge and skills up to date. Must be able to work independently and multitask in a fast paced environment. Must have or be able to quickly acquire knowledge of departmental program structure (mission, goals, and objectives), department policies and procedures.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

 

Language Skills                                            

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.

 

Mathematical Skills                                                  

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

 

Reasoning Ability                                                     

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
