This private practice was established 27 years ago by a urologist who loves the California coast and now wants to mentor a new partner who will enjoy sharing all that he has built.
- You'll quickly build from your starting base of $350K+ for year 1, based on experience
- A commencement bonus of $45K will get you started
- You'll have help getting there with a relocation allowance of $15K
- 20 days PTO & CME, $2500 CME to keep you fresh
The adjacent clinic, lab, and ambulatory surgical center bring all the diagnostic and therapeutic tools you'll need to one location, with an option to invest in the facilities. Perform surgery and take call at the nearby hospital. Call is light, shared, and pays well—take on as much as you'd like—and there's flexibility in the clinic schedule. This practice does NOT rely on capitation! This means your time is highly valued here!
The area's physicians live either along the Highway 68 corridor, where large estates offer vistas of the fertile Salinas Valley and surrounding mountain peaks, or in Monterey or Carmel, which means you can live right on the beach. Enjoy the change of pace of living in a region where others come to escape.
The stunning drive along the cliffs of the Pacific Coast Highway is an adventure in itself. Miles of crashing surf, secluded beaches, and cozy coves bring you to the dramatic rock formations and redwood forests of Big Sur, where campers can wrap up a day of hiking with a relaxing soak in the park's hot springs.
Acquaint yourself with the region's world-famous vineyards. In Monterey, you are always within striking distance of an award-winning winery. Enjoy taking the time to establish a favorite. In fact, whales are so plentiful in the bay that you won't need a boat tour to see one. They are commonly seen surfacing near Monterey's gorgeous beaches.
