- Shifts: 12 hrs. 7-7
- Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4 week period (days - Sat, Sun, nights - Fri, Sat), One major and minor holiday
- Unit Specific Information
- Charge Nurse: Yes, does not take patients. Also has Unit Supervisor
- Nurse Aides: PCTS on days. 1 PCT or SWAT RN at night to task
- Vents: NA
- Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Must call Physician
- IV Team: No. House SWAT Nurse available for hard IV sticks
- RT 24/7: Yes
- Pharmacy 24/7: Yes, ICU Pharmacist covers on days

- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: General MedSurg patients that require tele. Amio, Cardizem to titrate down only
- Additional Notes: Spectralink phones (call light attached to phone). Is the "new grad training unit", all new grads train with a "clinical scholar" for 4 weeks. Each week patient load increases to 1:4 final week
