As an Accounting & Finance Intern, you will support the accounting team to ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. This internship offers hands-on experience in financial analysis, documentation, and process improvement.
How You Will Impact Education
Instruction/Education Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing financial and audit documentation.
- Analyze and reconcile financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Support the identification and resolution of discrepancies in financial records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline audit processes.
- Conduct research on regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Participate in internal control assessments and risk evaluations.
- Prepare reports and presentations for audit readiness reviews.
- Prepare PO trackers for the FL schools by incorporating budget amounts for controllable expense.
- Assist with uploading school budgets to the Epicenter.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.
- Help with preparing reports for monthly or quarterly financial reviews.
- Assist with populating formulas in accounting software to support the updating of financial forecasts.

Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Basic understanding of financial principles and audit processes.
