Job Purpose

We deliver on our promise of Strong Minds, Good Hearts™ through an education model that gives every student the opportunity for success. The Community Engagement Consultant will be responsible for building strong relationships between our new K--8 school and the local community. This role focuses on fostering partnerships with local businesses and organizations, increasing awareness of the school's mission and programs, and driving positive community sentiment leading up to our opening.

 

How You Will Impact Education

  • Support and implement the community outreach strategy to promote the school's vision and values.
  • Make connections with local businesses, nonprofits, civic leaders, and community groups to create mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Represent the school at local events, meetings, and networking opportunities.
  • Attend engagement activities such as open houses, information sessions, and volunteer initiatives.
  • Create opportunities for prospective families to learn about and connect with the school.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and enrollment team to ensure community engagement efforts align with broader awareness campaigns.
  • Gather feedback from community stakeholders to inform outreach strategies.

 

Job Requirements

  • Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and creatively to achieve engagement goals.
  • Passion for education.
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed for events and outreach activities.
  • Contract Duration: Approximately 6--8 months (with opportunity to extend).
