  • Contribute to curriculum development, data analysis, instructional planning, coaching, and training for instructional staff members.
  • Develop and implement instructional plans within the CSUSA framework to best fit school needs.
  • Promote the implementation of CSUSA's Education Model to ensure personalized learning for all students.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to promote the school's mission/vision.
  • Provide coaching for instructional staff.
  • Provide instructional support to students and teachers as necessary.

Instruction/Education Responsibilities

Professional Development

  • Topic-specific in-service training as needed within deadlines.
  • Modeling lessons and instructional planning
  • Collaborates well in a supportive environment that fosters relationships with leadership teams, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

Curriculum and Instruction

  • Research and development of curriculum resources and trainings.
  • Has a comprehensive knowledge of the state standards, instructional best practices, courses offered within the state, and all state assessments
  • Analyzes student and teacher data to identify instructional gaps, researches evidence-based materials, pilots top options, and recommends purchases through the Budget Priorities process with cost‑benefit and implementation plans.

Data Analysis

  • State assessment understanding; including purpose, calculation of scores, disaggregation and aggregation of data, instructional preparation, etc.
  • CSUSA assessment understanding; including purpose, scores and reports, disaggregation, and aggregation of data, informed instructional decision making, etc.
  • Provides training on appropriate student/teacher/grade-level data analysis and how to drive instructional plans.
  • Actively participates in the strategic planning process to support the school with developing academic plans.

  • Builds capacity of those around them and can conduct formal and informal evaluations.
  • Develops and delivers onboarding and job‑embedded training for new staff using demonstration lessons, coached practice cycles, joint school support, and performance feedback tied to standards.
  • Looks for proactive ways to improve and promote quality within the school and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness. Ensures instructional staff members are implementing best practices.
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm and commitment toward the job and the mission of the company; supports the company's values and strategic priorities, as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • Works and interacts with staff and relates to individuals at all levels within the school.
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities/projects while maintaining flexibility. Must be detail oriented in multiple facets and drive projects to completion with follow through.
  • Demonstrates advanced proficiency with O365 (Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint, Forms), MS Office, common classroom devices (Chromebooks, tablets, interactive displays), and instructional software; leads successful rollouts, trains staff, and monitors fidelity and impact.
  • Delivers dynamic presentations that engage audience and participants.
  • Ability to consistently be at work, adding value, arriving, and departing on time, to deliver clear instructions, respond to upper management direction and solicit feedback to improve performance.
  • Ability to work with large amounts of data, to interpret data, to detect errors and prepare reports. Thinks creatively for how to best implement instructional plans.
  • Strong customer service and orientation.
  • Builds and maintains professional, courteous relationships with families, staff, and partners; handles sensitive/confidential matters with discretion.
  • Broad conceptual perspective and forward-thinking on educational issues and their long-term impact on the school and the company.

Job Requirements

  • Master's degree in Educational Leadership or Curriculum & Instruction preferred, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • 2-5 years related experience and/or training; Commitment to company mission, vision, and values.
  • MAC proficient: Microsoft Office (O365, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), other relevant platforms/software programs, educational technology, and mobile communication device.
  • Such alternatives to the above requirements as the School Principal may find appropriate and acceptable.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
