As a Senior Business and Strategic Planning Analyst Job Title, to conduct research, perform financial analyses, forecasts, and support new business pipeline, analyze opportunities for new and expanding schools. Support the financial modeling in due diligence process for opportunities supports corporate financial management, business modeling for private, micro, hybrid, and charter school models. Assist in analyzing potential joint ventures and partnerships in emerging educational business models.
How You Will Impact Education
Support new school development, including market research, feasibility studies, and budgeting. Identify and implement best practices for data management and system integration. Leads as liaison across functional areas on national and state teams to communicate opportunities, follow up on action items needed as part of the vetting process, elevating issues, and reporting status. Assists with budget & forecast preparation. Interacts with various departments to obtain current information. Support strategic expansion initiatives, with emphasis on micro-schools. Conduct competitive analyses of schools within targeted demographics, evaluating factors such as tuition pricing, program quality, curriculum offerings, facilities, and overall market positioning. Identify and evaluate new market opportunities aligned with Red Apple's mission and growth strategy. Support operations team in initial marketing strategies and efforts for new school launches. Prepare presentation materials and reports for leadership on recommended expansion areas. AD Hoc projects or reporting as needed.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Able to work independently to be a thought leader in developing and implementing strategies to expand the reach of Red Apple Education. Critical thinking and communications skills (written and oral) to effectively collaborate across the organization to get tasks completed in a timely manner. Strong project management skills. Able to organize and prioritize many tasks simultaneously and delegate tasks to others. Effective analytical and financial skills to use data to determine opportunities and priorities for expanding the enterprise. Excellent administrative and organizational skills, expert in communication, writing, and documentation abilities. Strong time management & organizational skills and the ability to prioritize wisely. Computer knowledge and experience with all Microsoft Office software, ability to manage online documentation of service requests, utilize time and material tracking programs. Ability to collect and analyze large amounts of data, interpret results, and prepare reports for different levels of stakeholder groups. Demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable recommendations. Ability to effectively facilitate cross-functional teams. Works well under pressure and time constraints. Develops knowledge of National, State and School level policies and procedures. Has ability to develop long range plans that involve multiple priorities, limited resources, and internal and external challenges. Comfortable in a fast-moving environment with a drive towards clarity and solutions. Works and interacts with staff and relates to individuals at all levels of the organization; relates to individuals at all levels. As unique situations present themselves, the incumbent must be sensitive to corporate needs, employee goodwill, and the public image. Demonstrates ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple priorities. Prepares and analyzes complex financial reports, including writing report sections, integrating content, and formatting business documents. Establishes a set of operating principles and routines; driving projects to completion, while insisting on highest level of quality.
Job Requirements
Education -- minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with focus on business and or finance. Proven experience in business strategy, operations, and project management, with a track record of successfully driving organizational growth. Strong financial acumen and experience in financial management. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Strong leadership and management capabilities. May perform other duties assigned
