Cheshire SC United is currently seeking Head Coaches to join our staff. Cheshire SC United is a 50 year old club in Central Connecticut with over 1,500 players from ages 4 to our Men's and Women's Teams. Cheshire SC United is seeking coaching staff that are willing to learn and join our competent network of coaches who are interested in developing under our methodology and curriculum. Cheshire SC United has a history of feeding some of the best ECNL, MLS NEXT, and College Coaches in the Northeast.
Cheshire SC United is looking for a Head Coach to coach our EDP/NECSL Teams from U7-U12 Academy. Age groups include differing abilities, allowing teams to compete in local, regional and national events.
Head Coach will have 2 to 3 Teams as well as oversight of specific club programs. Practices are 2x a week plus matches on the weekend.
Preferred Qualifications
Coaching experience and a proven ability to develop players in these age groups
Positive coaching style that is in line with our core values
Strong leadership and communication skills
Minimum USSF Grassroots for U7-U12 Academy and/or USSF “D” License for U13-U19 teams (will work with candidate to complete within 12 months)
Ability to work effectively as part of a team alongside other coaches
