BUSINESS PROCESS ANALYST

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

This Business Process Analyst will facilitate the next generation of process models based on defined business needs. This individual will collaborate with the line of business units in the design of processes and process architecture. This Individual will deliver project status updates as needed. This individual must be able to lead a cross-functional team of subject matter experts to deliver on process understanding and improvement.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Serve as a business expert for business process enhancement and transformation.
  • Serve as a business subject matter expert, experienced in business process modeling.
  • Responsible for process functionality with close attention risk and control, operational resilience assessments.
  • Be responsible for quality production of process maps.
  • Develop & maintains project tracking including status updates to stakeholders.
  • Review and research current state processes; recommend enhancement, modernization and/or automation.
  • Partner with lines of business and technology teams to make recommendations for future state.
  • Participate in process design and project implementation teams in process improvement activities applying lean and six sigma methodology.
  • Diagnose process improvement opportunities and develop solutions using principles of process excellence and related tools.
  • Designs scalable business systems, supports implementation.
  • Establishes tracking metrics and standards documentation for adoption.
  • This individual will be looked upon to proactively troubleshoot for the best solution given the strategic direction of the division.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Required Qualifications*

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a banking operations environment
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business process modeling notation (BPMN).
  • Experienced in financial services process taxonomy and process inventory.
  • Minimum 5 years in driving continuous improvement across the enterprises.

Additional Qualifications

  • Six Sigma/ Lean certification
  • Excellent process management and problem-solving skills.
  • Prior banking experience and extensive experience of process design.
  • Strong knowledge in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Visio.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Works on high priority projects where business problems are complex or unique.
  • Exercises judgment requires more in-depth knowledge using generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
  • Strong facilitation and project management skills.

Compensation

Starting base salary: $92,114 - $156,880 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
