WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?


Join our team as a Project Specialist focused on ensuring department procedures align with current processes, regulatory requirements, and organizational goals. This role is critical in driving compliance, operational efficiency, and audit readiness while fostering continuous improvement.  


WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Update and maintain department procedures to reflect current workflows, regulatory standards, and best practices.
  • Ensure key process changes are documented, communicated, and implemented across teams.
  • Identify gaps in existing procedures and collaborate with stakeholders to develop solutions.
  • Manage internal audit requests, including coordinating file/document submissions and preparing teams for audit activities.
  • Serve as a liaison during audits, articulating team responses and ensuring alignment with audit standards.
  • Track audit findings and drive corrective actions to address deficiencies.
  • Partner with directors and department managers on initiatives focused on process improvement, risk reduction, and organizational change.
  • Liaise with internal/external stakeholders to meet project deadlines and goals.
  • Develop project timelines, task trackers, and tools to maintain progress.
  • Provide recurring metrics, status updates, and progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Conduct data reconciliations to ensure accuracy (e.g., client data, mass mailings).
  • Document process flows, identify inefficiencies, and propose improvements.

 

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Required Qualifications

  • 3 + years of experience in project management, process improvement, or automation initiatives.
  • 3+ years of experience in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, charts), Word, PowerPoint, Adobe, and Outlook.
  • 1+ years of experience with SalesForce

Additional Qualifications

  • Proven experience in procedure documentation, compliance, or audit coordination.
  • Track record of managing cross-functional projects.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, charts), Word, PowerPoint, Adobe, Outlook, and Salesforce.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical/regulatory requirements into actionable plans.
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to thrive in ambiguous or fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including planning, coordination, and deadline-driven execution.
  • Innovative problem-solving mindset and self-starter attitude.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented work style with a willingness to learn.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., industry-specific standards) is a plus.
  • Experience in audit preparation or response management preferred.

 

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? Compensation Starting base salary: $78,970 - $126,140 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
