RCSA PROGRAM LEAD 1LOD WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? Reporting to the Manager, 1LOD Core Risk Program Implementation Team, the RCSA Program Lead will be responsible for supporting key Risk Assessment initiatives within the 1LOD Controls Office. This colleague will partner with key stakeholders across the 1st and 2nd Lines of Defense to build out and manage the successful implementation and ongoing program management of key Operational Risk Programs (e.g., Business Unit, Process Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSA) and Risk Register Programs). What you will do
- Leading discussions with 1LOD stakeholders, 2LOD ORM Advisory & Oversight, and RBC 2LOD Operational Shared Services teams to ensure successful deployment of RCSA work
- Providing direct support and coordination in all related activities (e.g., planning, workshop execution) across stakeholders to meet key deliverables
- Ensuring consistency in assessments across the 1LOD; enhancing key programs as needed to support the key functions across the organization
- Working with key leaders to manage the connectivity of Risk and Control identification across other programs (e.g., Issue Management, Control Testing, Shared Services)
- Establishing an ongoing monitoring and reporting processes to proactively identify trends, thematic issues, and key risk concentration, reporting results to Senior Leadership as needed
- Providing support as needed on regulatory task management including working with Governance Risk and Controls (GRC) team to manage task deliverables and timelines, key artifacts etc.
Must-Have*
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in risk program execution (ex., Process RCSAs, Risk and Control Identification)
- Minimum of 5 years' experience with Issue Management
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in project management, regulatory remediation, or similar experience
- Minimum of 7-10 years' work experience in financial services
Skills and Knowledge
- Knowledge of key risk and control identification practices; experience using GRC tools (e.g., Archer)
- Microsoft 365 Suite; advanced skills in Excel
- Experience analyzing and presenting large data sets for senior leadership
- Risk reporting
- Project management experience
