GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Under the general direction of a City Court Administrator, performs the work of a division head for the Court Services Division of Baton Rouge City Court performing highly responsible work of a coordinating and supervisory nature. Plans, directs, coordinates, and supervises a subordinate staff of supervisors and clerical support staff engaged in school assignments, community service assignments, and activities and responsibilities of the Court Services Division. Acts in the capacity of Sobriety Court Coordinator performing highly responsible work coordinating the activities of a Specialty Court. Work is performed with use of independent judgment within established guidelines and is reviewed through observations of work, periodic staff conferences, review of reports and records, and review of the overall effectiveness of all education programs, Sobriety Court operations, Volunteers in the Court, Community Relations, and the completion of courthouse maintenance requests. Performs special projects and other work as requested.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, or a related field, and four years of experience in professional level probation or criminal justice work, including three years of supervisory experience.

Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
