Help create a safe and vibrant Edmonton! As a Community Safety Liaison (CSL), you'll play a vital role as a part of the Neighbourhood Empowerment Team (NET). You will work closely with residents, special interest groups, other City of Edmonton departments and NET partners to develop strategies that address safety concerns and positively impact perceptions of safety in Edmonton's public. The work is informed by available data, community needs, and emerging priorities.

Your focus will be on understanding and addressing safety issues, promoting crime and violence prevention and reduction, and fostering a sense of security and well-being. This is a challenging but rewarding position that requires strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative approach, project management and a deep understanding of community dynamics.

  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other communication materials
  • Stay informed on trends and best practices impacting community safety
  • Other duties as assigned
