As an employee in our Branch, this position's role will be to cultivate our vision and cultural commitments while championing continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Supervisor, Integrated Services, the Facility & Fleet Coordinator is responsible for the provision of short and long term strategic facility and land planning, inventory management services for a diverse range of Branch assets, managing leased vehicles from the Driving Force for the PARS Branch, and managing projects that support the Branch and the various sections. This role acts as the primary point of contact between PARS business operational areas and other partners including Real Estate, Integrated Infrastructure Services, and third-party service providers.

What will you do?

  • Coordinate and analyze short and long term facility and land needs for Parks and Roads Services
  • Develop short and long term strategic plans and options, in accordance with asset management principles that will optimize the utilization of our fleet, facilities and land, aligning to a corporate perspective
  • Research and develop policy related to branch accommodation and location requirements
  • Provide consultation in the acquisition and disposition of assets based on long range plans, needs assessments and business plans
  • Provide recommendations to ensure effective and efficient use of assets
  • Coordinate information, analysis, and possible options for Parks and Roads Services space and facilities needs, including concept, functional programs, hiring consultants as required, including lease/buy/build analysis
  • Liaise on facility projects, including renovations, maintenance, relocations, and new constructions, etc
  • Act as the primary point of contact between PARS and the Driving Force regarding leased vehicles
  • Coordinate with the Fleet & Facility Services Leased Vehicle Contract Manager on lease agreements
  • Conduct long range planning for the Branches holistic portfolio based on accurate and timely reporting on branch assets, including fleet, facility and land
  • Other duties as assigned
