As a Labourer II, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our community spaces through various tasks including:

• Complete scheduled playground and other playspace inspections 
• Construction and repair of playground features such as; playground apparatus, surfaces, wood and concrete structures
• Assisting in the delivery of various capital work that relates to playground refurbishment/construction, repair and equipment installation 
• Scheduling and completing playground inspections 
• Construction and maintenance of green shacks 
• Other work as required such as, construction and repair of parkland assets such as; park furniture (tables and benches, picnic stoves), and other various utility work 
• Park servicing tasks such as; use of a pressure washer, garbage removal and sanitation duties 
• Operate and being responsible for the minor maintenance of one or more of the following types of equipment: various sizes in trucks, front end loader, water pumps, generators and varied power/hand tools 
• Maintain  simple records 
• Perform other related duties as required
