Description
The Real Estate Branch combines real estate and land development expertise to create integration across a diverse portfolio: we own, lease, and manage the City's inventory of real property (land, buildings, and facilities). We provide expert real estate services to the corporation and integrate multiple corporate interests so that Council can achieve its vision.
The Property Assistant is a support role to the unit, providing property management services and is accountable to their own routine, low complexity, low value portfolio, including Utility, Garden and Vacant Lots. If you are a self-starter with experience in the property management processes, have strong communication skills and take initiative, then consider joining the Property Services team.
The key responsibilities of the Property Assistant role include:

- Support the unit in the preparation of accurate financial reports for lease and property, as well as preparing and reconciling vendor charges, purchase orders, and maintenance orders
- Participate and coordinate daily property activity
- Prepare and review necessary data and documentation for the analysis of property
