Dispensing Pharmacist
Lee Health System
Estero, FL

CPS Solutions is seeking highly motivated and customer service-oriented pharmacy professionals who want to elevate their career to the next level. We are currently conducting a search for a full-time Dispensing Pharmacist to join a growing team of colleagues at our customer site, Lee Health, in Estero, FL, to provide outstanding service to patients with complex, specialty diseases to help them achieve improved clinical outcomes. This role will involve both dispensing and clinical tasks. Our dispensing pharmacy and patient call center are located in Estero, FL.

Starting Pay:  $120,000 to 140,000 annually (depending on related work experience) + bonus eligibility 

Shift:  Monday through Friday, 8:30 am - 5 pm EST

Responsibilities:

  • Dispensing & Patient Care: Accurately dispense prescription medications in compliance with legal, regulatory, and professional standards while providing in-person counseling on usage, side effects, and interactions. Build trust with patients to support adherence and safety.
  • Workflow Management: Lead daily pharmacy operations, delegate tasks effectively, and maintain service quality during high-volume periods. Foster a collaborative team environment through strong interpersonal and leadership skills, encouraging open communication, mutual respect, and continuous development.
  • Insurance & Compliance: Process insurance claims, manage rejections, and ensure timely reimbursements. Maintain full compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations, including audit preparedness.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage pharmacy inventory, place orders, and conduct regular audits. Handle expired or recalled products in accordance with policy.

Qualifications:

  • Education: PharmD required or BS Pharmacy degree with equivalent and acceptable experience from a College of Pharmacy accredited by American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP)
  • Licensed to practice, or the ability to become licensed as a Pharmacist in the state of Florida
  • The energy and willingness to be hands-on and do whatever is required to provide the best care to our patients
  • The ability to start from scratch, execute quickly and accurately without pre-defined processes and protocols, and an interest in defining such processes and protocols for the future
  • Strong people skills and the ability to work with teams across various clinics and health system partners
  • The ability to communicate effectively at all levels inside and outside the organization
  • Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Calendar

 And bonus points if you have:

  • Ambulatory or specialty experience
  • Residency training
  • Board Certification 
  • 1-2 years of clinical experience or residency equivalent is preferred, but all candidates will be considered
  • Proficiency in multiple EMR systems such as EPIC, Cerner or Meditech
  • Proficiency with dispensing systems such as Willow Ambulatory, QS1, RX30, Computer Rx, etc. along with experience in pharmacy dispensing
