Pharmacy Technician - Full Time

As a full time, nonexempt Pharmacy Technician with CPS Solutions, LLC at The Brook Hospital - Dupont, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements. At times this position may also work at The Brooks Hospital-KMI location. This position reports to the Director of Pharmacy.
Schedule: This full time position works 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm, no weekends.
Starting Pay: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on experience
About the Facility: The Brook Hospital - Dupont is an 88 bed, Joint Commission accredited facility that offers psychiatric and substance abuse treatment for children ages 5-12 and adults, 18 and older. Child services include Psychiatric Inpatient and Extended Care Inpatient. Adult services include Psychiatric Inpatient, Dual Diagnosis Inpatient, Substance Use Inpatient, Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), Psychiatric Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Psychiatric Intensive Outpatient (IOP), Substance Use Partial Hospitalization (PHP), and Substance Use Intensive Outpatient (IOP). CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.
About the Pharmacy: The pharmacy is open Monday-Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm. The pharmacy utilizes Omnicell automated cabinets, HCS pharmacy order entry services, CPOE and EMAR.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current Kentucky Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
- PTCB National Certification REQUIRED
- 6 months of experience as a pharmacy technician, hospital preferred
- Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
- Effective communications skills; verbal and written
