Senior DevOps Engineer

As a CPS DevOps Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes from development to production. Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to provision and configure cloud resources. Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate them using Kubernetes for scalability and resilience. Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance, reliability, and security in cloud environments. Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues, ensuring high availability and performance. Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure visibility into the health and performance of systems and applications. Ensure compliance with security policies and implement security best practices for infrastructure and applications. Continuously evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to improve automation, efficiency, and reliability. Participate in on-call rotations and incident response, resolving critical issues in production environments.   Salary range $120,000-$130,000   Primary Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure using Terraform and Azure.

  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.

  • Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes.

  • Implement security measures using Twistlock.

  • Manage Helm charts for Kubernetes deployments.

  • Write automation scripts in Python and PowerShell.

  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment processes.

  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

 

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles.

  • Proficiency in Terraform, Azure, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, Twistlock, Helm, Python, and PowerShell.

  • Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and practices.

  • Experience with infrastructure as code and container orchestration.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP).

  • Knowledge of additional scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Ruby).

  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).

  • Understanding of network security and best practices
