Specialty Pharmacy Liaison - Full Time,  Monday-Friday days!

As a full time, nonexempt CPS Solutions LLC Specialty Pharmacy Liaison at Ozarks Healthcare, you will work within the clinics to engage the providers and patients to improve continuity of care across the system. You will consult with each patient within the clinic, with the goal being to provide specialty pharmacy services through the specialty pharmacy. This position acts a liaison between the specialty pharmacy, providers and patients and is responsible for assisting the specialty pharmacy with data entry, financial assistance, prior authorizations and updating clinical information. 

Pay Range $19-$21/hr depending on experience

Schedule: This full time, nonexempt position will work a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm and additionally as needed.

About the Facility: Ozarks Healthcare is a Joint Commission accredited, 114-bed acute care hospital and not-for-profit medical referral center with over 1,300 employees, serving an eight-county area in south-central Missouri and north-central Arkansas.  Services include family medicine, specialty clinics, rehabilitation, home care, interventional cardiac care, open-heart surgery, oncology, neurosurgery, and cancer treatment.  CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this department. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

About the Pharmacy: Pharmacy hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm. 

Required Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or GED 
  • Current Missouri Pharmacy Technician license in good standing 
  • Experience in retail or specialty pharmacy preferred
  • Proficient computer skills using pharmacy systems and Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel

Specialized Knowledge/Skills

  • Independence with regard to communication with providers and patients
  • Ability to use pharmacy management systems and care management platforms 
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Effective communication skills - verbal and written 

Hospital Requirements (may be required):  

  • (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
  • (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
  • Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
  • Hep B3 Series (or declination) 
  • (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th  
  • COVID Vaccine-Full (required)
