A Day in the Life of an ICU Critical Care Unit Assistant (CCUA/NAR/CNA)
In this role, you will be integral to the ICU team, managing communications and coordinating clerical activities at the nurses station, ensuring that all operations flow seamlessly. You will monitor patient telemetry, promptly alerting the charge nurse or patient nurse of any significant or abnormal changes. Your responsibilities will also include assisting the nursing staff with direct patient care activities as directed, and maintaining comprehensive and organized medical records. Additionally, you will handle general administrative duties, stock supplies, and maintain cleanliness of equipment, playing a key role in upholding the facility's standards and efficiency.

Qualifications
Education and Experience Required
- American Heart Association BLS certification within 30 days of hire (on-site training provided)
- NAR certification upon hire OR completion of an approved nursing assistant training program within 6 months of hire (on-site preparation provided if needed)
