A Day in the Life of an LPN / CMA - Breezy Point Clinic
The Clinic LPN-Breezy is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of a physician's clinic, handling everything from patient assessments to educating patients on treatment plans. Daily responsibilities include assisting physicians during procedures, administering medications, managing medical equipment effectively while ensuring all activities are well-documented and comply with state laws and nursing standards. The work environment is fast-paced, requiring the ability to handle stressful situations and adapt quickly to meet patient needs. Collaboration is key, as the LPN works closely with physicians, other clinic departments, and external agencies to coordinate comprehensive patient care. The typical day includes direct and indirect patient care tasks, ranging from assisting with medical procedures to managing administrative duties like documentation and communication.
