A Day in the Life of a Sleep Center Coordinator
The Sleep Center Coordinator oversees daily operations including staff guidance on patient assignments and time management, ensuring efficient use of resources. This role is critical in training staff on new and existing procedures and maintaining compliance with all relevant healthcare standards and regulations. The coordinator directly engages with patients, handling equipment setups like PAP machines, and providing necessary education and follow-ups. They are responsible for the meticulous management of medical records and patient data, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Collaboration with healthcare providers and interdisciplinary teams is vital to adapt and optimize patient care plans and clinic processes.

Qualifications
Education and Experience Required
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification within 30 days of hire
- Prior clinical or fieldwork experience Able to provide clear evidence of clinical skills consistent with basic entry-level positions
- Graduate of a two or four-year Respiratory Care Program (preferable through the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) -OR- a Bachelor of Science degree in a health-related field with a certificate in Respiratory Care
- RCP with 2 years of DME experience
- N/A
The pay range listed above is the estimated starting pay range for this role. Actual pay rate offered depends on many factors including each individual employee's experience level, preferred education/certifications, along with market conditions.
