We want everyone who works at CVS Health to feel empowered by the role they play in transforming our culture and accelerating our ability to innovate and deliver solutions to make health care more personal, convenient and affordable. *Position Summary* * Help with the successful delivery of analyses and analytic solutions to meet business needs, interacting directly with internal and external clients and colleagues. * Responsible for the technical aspects of the system development and implementation process, including database updates. * Collaborates with account managers, customers, and data suppliers regarding recommendations about data collection methods, metrics definition, evaluation methods, design, and execution of analytic studies to answer business and research questions. * Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle. * Identify opportunities for process improvement * Performs research and custom analysis of integrated healthcare data, interprets results, and makes recommendations based on analytic findings to business areas. * Candidate will also support special projects such as platform and server migrations, efficiency initiatives, etc. * Stays informed about industry trends, research findings and evaluation methods. * Maintain standard programs and utilities to process healthcare claims data and prepare the data for analytical reporting. *Required Qualifications* * 6+ year of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role. * Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and tools * Proficiency using SAS/SQL/Python/R for data retrieval, manipulation, and transformation. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and ensure data integrity * Ability to navigate effectively in a Linux/UNIX environment using basic commands & functions * Excellent communication and presentation skills * Well-versed in data analysis and data transformation. * Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability. * Strong collaboration and communication skills (written/oral) with the ability to communicate analyses, technical ideas, and results to non-technical clients. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment across multiple teams. * Excellent knowledge using Excel, Access, Visio, Word and/or PowerPoint. * Willingness to understand customers' needs and to create business strategies around them *Preferred Qualifications* * 10+ years of healthcare data analytics experience preferred * Proficient using Informatica * Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices * Experience Working with JIRA, SharePoint, and Confluence * Experience using version control software such as Vault, Gitlab * Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and their application in healthcare environments. *Education* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Social Science, Healthcare, or related discipline. *Pay Range* The typical pay range for this role is: $63,300.00 - $139,200.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.    In addition to your compensation, enjoy the rewards of an organization that puts our heart into caring for our colleagues and our communities.  The Company offers a full range of medical, dental, and vision benefits.  Eligible employees may enroll in the Company's 401(k) retirement savings plan, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan is also available for eligible employees.  The Company provides a fully-paid term life insurance plan to eligible employees, and short-term and long term disability benefits.
