We want everyone who works at CVS Health to feel empowered by the role they play in transforming our culture and accelerating our ability to innovate and deliver solutions to make health care more personal, convenient and affordable. *Position Summary* You will • Collaborate with business partners to identify opportunities in support of Pharmacy Personalization by leveraging Batch/Realtime data processing technologies. • Design highly scalable and extensible application platforms which enable collection, storage, modeling, and processing of massive data sets from numerous channels in batch/realtime. • Assess and provide recommendations on business relevance, with appropriate timing and deployment. • Perform architecture design, data modeling, and build CVS batch/realtime platforms and applications. • Bring a DevOps mindset to enable solutions that leverage emerging technologies. • Develop prototypes and proof of concepts for the selected solutions, and implement complex big data projects • Apply a creative mindset to a focus on collecting, parsing, managing, and automating data feedback loops in support of business innovation. *Required Qualifications* • Must have minimum 5+ years of total IT experience • Strong in Python with 3+ years hands-on coding experience • 2+ years experience in designing and building Microservices • 2+ years experience with REST API design and development using Python • 2+ years experience with deployment/scaling of apps on containerized environment (i.e. Kubernetes, AKS) • 3+ years experience in creating an end-to-end data pipeline using pySpark, Azure Databricks • 3+ years experience with cloud-based platforms (i.e. Azure, GCP, AWS) • Experience building automated big data pipelines • Experience performing data analysis and data exploration • Experience with Snowflake • Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL Databases and hands-on query tuning/optimization • Experience with orchestrating pipelines using tools (i.e. Airflow, Azure Data Factory) • Exposure/understanding DevOps best practice and CICD (i.e. Jenkins) • Strong critical thinking, communication, and problem solving skills and a quick learner *Preferred Qualifications* • Experience in Azure/GCP. • Solid understanding of Kafka architecture and building consumers for high volume data streams. • Experience working in an agile delivery environment • Experience working in multi-developer environment, using version control (i.e. Git) • Experience with bash shell scripts, UNIX utilities & UNIX Commands • Experience partnering cross-functionally with other technical teams (i.e. data ingestion, data science, operational systems) to align priorities and achieve deliverable outcomes • Experience with setting coding standards, performing code reviews, and mentoring junior developers • Ability to understand complex systems and solve challenging analytical problems • Previous healthcare experience and domain knowledge *Education* • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Physics, Math, or related field or equivalent experience • Preferred: Master's Degree with coursework focused on advanced algorithms, mathematics in computing, data structures, etc. *Pay Range* The typical pay range for this role is: $97,335.00 - $201,900.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
