This role requires a strong understanding of IT principles, as well as excellent documentation skills to ensure clear and comprehensive records of our strategies, policies, procedures, knowledge base and workflows. In addition to exceptional writing skills, the candidate should possess strong people skills and be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to gather information, ensure the accuracy and completeness of technical content, and pro-actively identify opportunities to improve efficiency and focus by revamping or optimizing existing business process and tools documentation across multiple platforms. If you are a self-motivated individual with a passion for technical writing and communication, we encourage you to apply. *Responsibilities* * Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of our policies, procedures, and standards, including user manuals, knowledge articles, and release notes. * Develop and maintain documentation repositories and knowledge management systems for easy access to IT documentation. * Translate technical information into accessible content that will enable both IT and business colleagues to easily understand IT Service Management products and processes. * Organize and structure information effectively, ensuring logical flow and easy navigation within the documentation * Collaborate with stakeholders to gather information and ensure the accuracy and completeness of technical content. * Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of documentation. * Review and edit documentation written by other team members for clarity, accuracy, and consistency. * At time, work closely with engineering teams to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into clear and concise documentation for non-technical audiences. * Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in technical writing, communications, IT governance and documentation standards. *Required Qualifications* * 7+ years of experience in technical writing or technical communications roles, with some process management and strategy experience. * 3+ years of experience of creating high quality technical documentation, including user manuals, technical guides, flow charts, videos, and release notes. * 3+ years of experience with version control management, including creating and implementing new process. *Preferred Qualifications* * Proficiency with documentation, communication, and IT tools such as Confluence, Teams, SharePoint, Slack, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Illustrator, Paint Shop Pro and Atlassian Jira. * Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team. *Education* * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (High School Diploma and 4 years relevant experience) *Pay Range* The typical pay range for this role is: $79,200.00 - $174,200.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.    In addition to your compensation, enjoy the rewards of an organization that puts our heart into caring for our colleagues and our communities.  The Company offers a full range of medical, dental, and vision benefits.  Eligible employees may enroll in the Company's 401(k) retirement savings plan, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan is also available for eligible employees.  The Company provides a fully-paid term life insurance plan to eligible employees, and short-term and long term disability benefits.
