Clinical Faculty - Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology Dell Medical School, University of Texas at Austin

Description: As part of The University of Texas at Austin, one of the nation's leading research
universities, the Dell Medical School will pursue innovation in the re-design of healthcare delivery, excellence in healthcare research, and programs in interdisciplinary and inter-professional education. Dell Med has partnered with several care delivery organizations in the Austin/Travis County community, including the Seton-Ascension system, Community Care (a large Federally Qualified Health Center network), and the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Background: Dell Medical School's mission is to revolutionize healthcare delivery by educating leaders, advancing innovation, improving community health, and redesigning the academic health environment.

Job Summary: The faculty will primarily focus on growing a General Gastroenterology practice at Seton Medical Center Austin, ensuring state-of-the-art, value-driven healthcare delivery in line with the goals of Dell Medical School. Responsibilities include inpatient gastroenterology consult service (approximately 1 week per month), outpatient clinics, and endoscopy. There are no scheduled outpatient clinics during inpatient weeks. Call will not exceed 1 in 7 weeks. Enjoy an established referral base with our robust primary care network in partnership with Ascension Seton.
