- Master's degree in History from an accredited institution of higher education
- Demonstrated currency in the field of History
- Demonstrated ongoing professional growth
- Experience teaching Western Civilization survey courses (early and later) and / or Michigan history courses.
- College teaching experience in face-to-face and online environments.
- Community college teaching experience.
- Experience teaching diverse student populations.
- Experience with teaching courses for dual enrollment initiatives.
