The Highlights: The Driehaus College of Business/Kellstadt Graduate School of Business is seeking a driven, entrepreneurial-minded professional to serve as the inaugural Associate Director of Experiential Programs & Partnerships. Reporting to the Director of the Kellstadt Career Management Center, this individual will develop and expand experiential programs and industry partnerships in support of our degree programs.The ideal candidate will possess an enthusiasm for and experience with external relations, business development, account management, and program development, engaging with internal and external stakeholders including but not limited to employer and corporate partners, alumni, faculty, and staff.
What You'll Do:
- Industry Partnerships
• Develop strategy to identify and source industry partners for experiential engagement across our degree programs.
• Build and maintain relationships with industry to create mutually beneficial partnerships between the Driehaus College of Business/Kellstadt Graduate School of Business and the business world. Both curricular and co-curricular in nature, these partnerships can include collaborative projects, capstone course engagement, project-based work, guest speaking opportunities, case studies/competitions, and more.
• Evaluate and continuously grow our experiential network in support of the DePaul Business community. - Program Development & Management
• Manage experiential engagement requests from faculty.
• Collaborate with faculty to integrate experiential learning components into the curriculum.
• Serve as a consultant and broker, connecting faculty to industry partners within our experiential network.
• Design co-curricular programs that enhance student learning and professional development. Including but not limited to job shadows and case competitions. - Administration
• Manage timelines and deliverables, ensuring efficient execution of initiatives.
• Track and assess outcomes, providing updates and data-driven recommendations to leadership.
• Oversee MarComm efforts in support of experiential programs and partnerships. - Student Support & Career Development
• Develop resources and implement tools to enhance students' ability to succeed in experiential programs and projects. - Supervise one or more Graduate Assistants/Student Employees
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university
- Preferred minimum of 5 years experience in a related job discipline, including but not limited to career services, experiential learning initiatives, business development, sales, account/relationship management, and program management.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, build, and strategically enhance internal and external relationships.
- Self-starter, with experience building programs, partnerships, and initiatives from the ground up.
- Proven ability to engage with and manage priorities for multiple stakeholders to achieve shared goals
- Ability to be entrepreneurial and navigate evolving priorities.
- Experience with the creation, management, and/or utilization of databases in support of customer relationship management.
- Strong attention to detail
- Exceptional presentation and pitching skills
- Deep commitment to customer service and the user experience
- Occasional travel to corporate, employer, and industry sites and/or events required.
- Work occasional hours outside of normal business hours, inclusive of evenings and/or weekends.
- This is a hybrid position, expected to work a minimum of three days per week on our Loop campus during peak times.
