The Highlights:

As the Lead CRM Systems Development and Reporting Analyst, you will be a crucial member of our Admission Systems and Operations team. You will be responsible for providing high-level technical and development support to aid in workflow/process development, communications, database structure, and other critical systems functions. In addition, you will serve as a report builder and data analyst to support Enrollment Management's admissions data, analytics, marketing, and reporting needs. This role is perfect for someone who loves diving deep into data and finding innovative solutions to optimize our CRM systems.

 

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as a developer on complex, highly-technical projects within the CRM. Code and implement business processes to meet shifting business needs/priorities as communicated by members of the Admission Systems and Operations team and other university partners to ensure reliable and efficient business processes are in place. This will include database configuration work and back-end and front-facing portal development and maintenance.
  • Conduct necessary reporting and process audits to ensure reporting integrity, and represent the interests of Admission Systems and Operations in data/reporting planning and stewardship with other University's offices and stakeholders (Financial Aid, University Registrar, Institutional Reporting, Information Technology, etc.). Manage report requests from campus partners utilizing SQL, Tableau, and CRM functionality.
  • Create, maintain and audit data feeds and integrations connected to SIS and external systems. 
  • Provide in-house technical support and training to other members of the Admissions Systems and Operations team. Consult with other internal and external technical users (IT Department, Marketing Science Group, consultants, etc.) on cross-system development work. 
  • Potential to oversee FT staff depending on departmental needs.

 

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in computer science, data science, analytics, or other related technical field, or clearly demonstrated equivalent knowledge and on-the-job experience. Advanced degree in related technical field desirable.
  • 5+ years of work experience focusing on full-stack development or related projects
  • Demonstrated experience with and knowledge of relational databases, cloud-based infrastructure, web development and related programming/scripting/markup languages (SQL, CSS, HTML, DotLiquid, .Net, JavaScript, JQuery, etc.)
  • Experience with Technolutions Slate and Tableau preferred.
  • Ability to develop data visualizations using industry standard methods.
  • Ability to programmatically manipulate and cleanse data.
  • Comfort in handling inbound data from feeds as well as preparing data for outbound feeds and integrations.
  • Working experience with structured data formats including but not limited to JSON, XML, and YAML.
  • Demonstrated planning, organizational, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
