The Highlights: The Enrollment Systems Integration Analyst provides essential systems and end user support to the Office of Financial Aid, and collaborates with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions analysts and end users and Information Systems developers and project managers on systems-related issues. This position analyzes, tests, integrates, and documents new PeopleSoft functionality and existing functionality requiring enhancement or remediation. This position also collaborates with EM and college office staff to resolve duplicate student IDs.
 

What You'll Do:

  • Analyzes Office of Financial Aid business processes and collaborates with operations, service, and compliance staff on PeopleSoft process improvements. Documents functional specifications, collaborates with IS design and build teams, identifies integration points with other functional areas, develops and executes test plans, and communicates changes to affected staff. Involves analysts and users from other business units when business process changes affect those functional areas. 
  • Evaluates new PeopleSoft functionality and promotes staff usage when appropriate. Works with Enrollment Systems workgroup to create setup, evaluate integration points with other functional areas, and develop and execute test plans; works with Office of Financial Aid staff on testing, implementation, documentation, and training. 
  • With the Enrollment Services trainer, creates documentation and training materials for end users on new/enhanced functionality and on topical issues related to the performance of their responsibilities.
  • Collaborates with enrollment management and college office staff as needed to resolve duplicate ID discrepancies and consolidate student data. 
  • Serves as second level of contact for Office of Financial Aid staff members with PeopleSoft processing issues unable to be resolved by the financial aid analyst. Debugs application errors and works with IS developers to solve issues.
  • Writes and updates reports to monitor student eligibility, identify and remedy processing issues, and recommend process improvements
  • Financial Aid is an auditable function and this team is integral part of administering  federal, state and institutional aid programs; aggregate dollars of programs exceed $450 million annually.
     
What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's or higher degree required. 
  • Three years functional/business/system analysis experience required. 
  • Experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions product preferred; additional experience with cross-functional PeopleSoft tools such as Query, BI Publisher or Equation Engine, CommGen and File Parser preferred. 
  • Functional knowledge of financial aid administration is imperative.
  • Demonstrate strong analytic, planning, team-building, problem-solving and decision-making skills. 
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot systems application errors. 
  • Demonstrate effective verbal, written, presentation and listening skills. 
  • Interact and collaborate with work-group colleagues, end users, cross-functional analysts, and IS project managers and developers. Expertly use Microsoft Excel and Word; experience using Microsoft Visio or other flowchart software preferred. Easily learn other online technology tools. 
  • Understanding of SQL programming language preferred.
  • Position requires standard five day work week. Additional hours may be required, depending on business cycle and urgency required to remedy acute system problems. Weekend hours may be required (usually Sunday mornings) four to six times per year for patch and/or upgrade testing. Office within a hybrid schedule with approximately 2-3 days in office and 2-3 days remote depending on needs.

The anticipated hiring range for this position is: $64,662.00 to $95,000.00. 

The salary range provided in this posting reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual compensation offered or earned is dependent on experience, education and other factors including departmental budget.
